Still alive and kicking
Despite my quietness, I'm still here. No job as of yet, but I continue to fight the good fight. Jobs at my skill level are never an easy find and today's economy is just making it all the more difficult. However, something is out there for me and I can't let this get me down.
I've been trying to be productive with my time off so I keep creating "to do" lists. Why is it that "wash dishes" seems to be on every one???? The closet/basement/garage purge goes on, so there should be a HUGE pile of things I will be selling off/giving away. Garb-wise, I have a large tupper full of things I will be dragging to KRF before opening weekend. For those of you not headed that way, I will post a list soon of what I have, so you can let me know what you want. We can figure out the logistics of getting stuff to you later.
My laptop suffered a slight accident a few weeks ago and is now blind. Thank heavens we have a monitor I can plug into, but I'm now stuck sitting in a very uncomfortable chair when I want to use my computer. :-( No more watching TV and surfing the 'Net for me.
*sigh*
Back to the tasks of job huntng and house cleaning. I will be emerging from my hidey-hole in a few weeks and I'll try to be better about updating. :-)
