Back again...

I just can't seem to ever stick with this for too long, but I'm back for today anyway. :)

Andy and I just celebrated our first anniversary. We went to Pennsylvania to visit my family and to attend my nephew Patrick's wedding. I can hardly believe that he is old enough to be married even though he's 23. It seems like just yesterday he was a newborn. I was only 10 but now I feel completely ancient. Particularly because Pat and Kelli's 3 year old flower girl was the daughter of their maid of honor who was close to their age. It was a shocking moment to think that all of my siblings have children of their own and my nephew will probably have them soon too. Heck, half of them can drive already and all but one of those can vote too. I can't even drive yet!

I am currently going through Project Runway/MadMen withdrawl. My friend Jennifer was Kenley for Halloween. I wonder how many people recognized her costume. I can't be the only one addicted to that show. If I would've had any reason to dress up I was going to be a Sterling Cooper secretary. No one would've gotten it but I could've made a slammin' outfit and I would have had fun with the hair. I haven't cut my hair in ages. I don't think I can remember the last time I had hair this long - past my shoulders. I'm aiming for mid back, but it's so fine that it might not really be possible. I always thought it was poker straight, but it wasn't until I grew it out that I realized how much wave there was to it. Weird.

I don't know how many of you are doing NaNoWriMo, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me about it. I was thinking of trying my hand at a novel, but I'm not sure if it is too late to start. Speaking of late, I really need to change the clocks back. I was lazy and only changed one and all day I've been double taking on the clock when I walk from room to room.

Tomorrow is going to be exciting. I'm going for a meeting at a children's theatre here. The director wanted to talk to me about doing some production work for them and filling in as a substitute teacher for their weekly theatre classes. I can't wait to find out more about it. I need to get back in the swing of things. This will be really good for me.
