OMG I did the same thing with Star Wars, specially with Empire. I actually had the re-releases from 1997 on VHS and I saw them all the time. My mom thought there was something wrong with me!
I think I still have the videotapes somewhere, I can proudly say I own the OT in VHS, laser disc and DVD :P Haha.
I have the OT on VHS too, but my VCR thingy is missing a cord so I can't set it up. But they replay the trilogies on TV every year :) plus I have eppies 1, 2 and 3 on DVD :D
I'm not a huge Prequel fan, mostly because Anakin was so... EMO. He was pretty to look at but it's just hard to believe the same guy who made that "SAND IS AWFUL" monologue turned out to be the most badass villain ever. Now, Ewan as Obi-Wan, Natalie and everyone else just rocked hardcore.
I just have Revenge of the Sith on DVD. I treasure the OT a lot haha, I don't even let my friends borrow it.
lol Same here, I mostly liked Anakin in the Original Trilogy and The Phantom Menace episodes XD he was such a cute lil boy, hehe!
I loooved Ewan as Obi Wan :D I've been mostly a fan for the clone troopers now, though. Ever since I played SW: Republic Commando, I was like "SQUEE! They're so awesome!" (I even had my username named after one of the characters: Scorch, he's my icon userpic too, hee!) Which is where I cry so much over Revenge of the Sith at Order 66, when the clones turn on the Jedi (its soo sad!! lol) but then I cried a lot when Padme died too, and she had that necklace Anakin gave to her. But its an EPIC episode!
I was actually a little disappointed with the Order 66 thing, I adored the scene itself and it was probably one of the best parts of ROTS but, I kinda felt like Lucas wasted Ep 1 and Ep 2 building this great conspiracy thing that depended on a lot of luck, some weird coincidences and Anakin's being emotionally unstable. It would have been ,much better if all three prequels had the pacing/feel of ROTS. It just made the Jedi and all of the politicians look like a bunch of idiots, that were thwarted because Anakin had a bunch of nightmares and Mace Windu decided to argue with the kid instead of offing a damn Sith Lord
( ... )
Yeah, its like Robot Chicken Star Wars, "Lost the will to live? What did you degree in poetry?" Hehe, Dr. Ball -- who is actually that floating thing that is used to interrogate Leia in ANH lmao
Oh, but I looooved the music for the Order 66 scene, it's the music that usually makes me cry more for the scenes :D
Man, I wish it'd hurry up and come out on DVD -- looking forward to special features and watching it non-stop every night :D Hehe!

I'll probably drive everyone crazy and take it with me everywhere like I did the first weeks I had Trek. Hehehe.
