I was actually a little disappointed with the Order 66 thing, I adored the scene itself and it was probably one of the best parts of ROTS but, I kinda felt like Lucas wasted Ep 1 and Ep 2 building this great conspiracy thing that depended on a lot of luck, some weird coincidences and Anakin's being emotionally unstable. It would have been ,much better if all three prequels had the pacing/feel of ROTS. It just made the Jedi and all of the politicians look like a bunch of idiots, that were thwarted because Anakin had a bunch of nightmares and Mace Windu decided to argue with the kid instead of offing a damn Sith Lord.
I think the part that gets me the most about ROTS is the whole "YOU WERE MY BROTHER" exchange, because dude. I really felt Obi-Wan's pain there. He was utterly betrayed by someone he loved/trusted and now everything he stood for was gone. I was kind of angry with Padmé's on-screen death (She lost the will to live? WTF. Her boytoy might be evil but she has two new beautiful twins that need her!) in the novelization they explained that Vader did major damage to her trachea when he force choked her and that was what caused her death, which was much more believable than "she died of a broken heart" I mean Padme was an action girl and a Queen in Eps 1&2, I hate they turned her into a woobie. Chick was fierce and strong.
Still, giving credit where credit is due, how fricking awesome was the final scene with baby Luke, Owen and Beru staring at the twin suns? It was like full circle for the scene where Luke looks at them for the last time in ANH. It was like both scenes represented the rise and set of Luke's innocence. I still get teary eyed when I think of it.
Yeah, its like Robot Chicken Star Wars, "Lost the will to live? What did you degree in poetry?" Hehe, Dr. Ball -- who is actually that floating thing that is used to interrogate Leia in ANH lmao
Oh, but I looooved the music for the Order 66 scene, it's the music that usually makes me cry more for the scenes :D
