So after the Printing Museum yesterday, I took a 2 hour nap and then headed up to the cafe on the corner where I discovered there was a comedy show planned for the evening. Clarese hosts Laugh -a- Latte at the cafe every 3rd Saturday of the month and yesterday was the 2 year anniversary. There were about ten comics, there and it was free. Jason ( Read more... )

So my godson, Philip, had surgery to remove a mole on his face. It was cause for alarm with the rate at which it was growing, etc, so the doctors recommended removal. He is still healing and has a scar from cheek to chin. As a result, his parents decided to dress him as Al Capone for Halloween. He's 2 years old.

I am on super efficient mode right now- doing my best to baby-proof my place as much as humanly possible for a simple two day jaunt. I hate those child-proof locks-- I think kids figure it out way before adults--so I used rubberbands around the kitchen cabinets that have poison in them.
