death to the mall

Tomorrow begins my work at School 95 in the ghetto of Buffalo.  They said I was ready for a more challenging assignment, so here we go.  I am looking foward to it, and they are still little chillens, so how hard can it be?

Speaking of challenging, I am applying to Summit School, which is a school here in Buffalo for children with Autism. More to come on that as things unfold, but I am SICK TO DEATH of working retail, as I am simoultaneaoulsy making nearly NO money, hating customers, and not building my resume even a tiny bit.  It's time for a change.  I am really praying that something comes up this summer, too. I can't slave away at the mall much longer without loosing my sanity, my resume, and my entire bank account..  I know for sure I will be doing Vacation Bible School at a Catholic church that is TBD, but I need a job that pays dollars, not just a warm feeling at the end of the session.  So, wish me luck on that, too.

This week is going to be a little crazy I think.  There is a lot on my plate, and I have to get things done because I loose out on Saturday as a working day, but for good reason!  This weekend I am going on a chapter retreat for four.  We went to the same place last semester, but it will be a lot different this time I think. For one, I know everyone a whole lot better so it should be better.  For two, it will be freezing cold in the woods, so we'll see how that pans out.  And DARN!!! I forgot to get a pair of boots from home when I saw David Copperfield on Thursday. I swear if I don't write something down right away, I forget it every time.

Back to reading and getting things done. Topic for the night: Chapter 3: Psychology of Psychoactive Drugs. Fun!
