An interview... with a 5-year-old
An interview with 5-year-old Caroline D.:
T: Why do you like Mikey and April sitting next to each other?
C: Because they look good together. Because Mikey and April like to kiss a lot and drink. April drinks wine and Mikey drinks beer. They all drink different kinds of drinks. If they didn’t drink different stuff, they wouldn’t like each other.
T: What about Irma?
C: Irma likes Raph because he has a red bandanna. Because Irma’s favorite color is red. Well, Irma likes to play blocks and so does Raph and that’s why they like to be together. Actually, Mikey and April would live together in the sewer and kiss down there and kiss in Raphs room and spill water and perfume in Raphs bed. And Raph would live with Irma and never pour perfume on April’s hair because boys don’t do that to girls. And they would live happily ever after in my interview.
T: What about Leo and Donatello?
Leo and Donatello don’t have girls because they don’t get out of bed and find them. They just stay in there and read books all day. They actually want to play but they don’t listen to Splinter. They need to learn to listen because if they don’t they will grow up bad. And if they get older they would play games like tag turtle, tag chicken and tag Wal-Mart and play yellow car. They could grow up and be a rock star. *sings*
T: Who’s your favorite Ninja Turtle?
MIKEY!
T: Why?
C: Because my favorite color is orange and I like orange. I think oranges are sweet and that’s why I like Mikey.
T: Do u think Mikey is sweet?
C: Yes. I think Mikey is really nice because he never hurts or breaks anyone except bad guys. I think I should break up with him because he is not a people. He could hurt me and hurt my feelings. He’s silly and he could put whipped cream in my bed. So I should break up with him, but I can’t because he will cry like a baby. And that would be sad.
T: Do u want to answer any more questions?
C: No, ask Jack…
So yeah.... that was what we did today. For a little while at least. I've been meaning to do this becuase Coco totally ships for April and Mikey. Those are her words.

T: So Claire, would you make April kiss Mikey
C: No.
T: Why?
C: Because I don’t want them.
T: Why not?
C: Because they have smoochie kisses.
T: Ok… who’s your favorite Ninja Turtle?
C: Raph because he’s nice and strong.
T: What about Leo and Don?
C: I like them. They’re strong. I like Mikey if he doesn’t kiss April.
T: What about Splinter?
C: I like Splinter because he likes his sons.
T: Anything else?
C: No.
Claire is a bit shorter on words, but yeah... lol she doesn't ship April and Mikey for the above reasons lol
An interview with 7-year-old Jack D.:
T: So Jack, would you make Mikey kiss April?
J: I hate interviewing. Leave me alone I want to play pirates. Online dot com.
T: That’s not nice jack….
J: I don’t want to interviewwwww… *groans*
T: Please just answer my questions and I’ll let u play
J: Just one?
T: questionsss…
J: How many?
T: Not a lot…
J: Why no I will not not not (etc.)
T: Please?
J: What do you mean?
T: I just wanna know a few things… that’s all…
J: Ok. What do u want to know?
T: Would u make April and Mikey kiss?
J: No.
T: Why not?
J: Cuz that’s disgusting. It’s disgusting because April has cooties.
T: Ok…. Who’s your favorite Ninja Turtle?
J: Why thank you for asking. My favorite Ninja Turtle is Leo. Because he has swords and his swords are awesome. That’s it.
T: What about Raph and Don?
J: I think Raph is a brat. Don is awesome and he’s totally insane with computers. Because he knows all about computers.
T: If you could be a Ninja Turtle, who would you be and why?
J: Leonardo. Because I could chop people’s heads off. I love being a turtle.
T: Ok…. Anything else you’d like to tell the world?
J: No thanks. I’m done…
Jack needed to do one too... He's very funny. He kept watching me type the words down and was slowing down so I'd catch up.
