HAPPY 2-1 MICHELLE!!!!!!!
i <3 my residents. they are super cool. what can i say? i'm lovin' it. friday was a whole lotta meetin the girls and the parentals, helpin out with whatever. pretty low key to be honest. at 4:30 some of us staffers went to the chancellor's welcome. "mr. andrew monfre" spoke, which was good stuff. i was like: "i know him!" actually, i wasn't. but it was cool nonetheless. we ordered applebee's to go as a staff for matt's bday. we had meetings in the evening. i got to give my first wing meeting. one of my gals was wearing a shirt with a pic of george sr. and george w. on it and it said "dumb & dumber." i have a fun group i feel. sarah, andrea and i watched "varsity blues" and ordered some toppers (for the 583285th night in a row).
saturday i had to wake up early in the a.m. to go to "get in the game" which is a get-together thing for all the on campus people. we did some get to know you type stuff. comedy sportz was there putting the games on and then they did some funny stuff. it made me super bummed i haven't been there in uptown since sr. year. go me. but it was cool stuff to watch. afterwards there was an all campus picnic. it was a perfect day! i (the picky eater) was (not surprisingly) disappointed by the food. it was all good though cuz i was planning to go to lauren's after for some chatty and hanging out that was much in need. we ended up going to olive garden with travis to visit gina while she was doing her waitress thang. i hung out at lauren's wonderful a/c apt for a lil bit. i was lazy around the hall for the rest of the afternoon. andrea and i didn't really do a thing. i brought the girls to the caf in the evening for din since i remember how horrid the thought of going there was the first time. so confusing! in the evening there were all night movies playing in the field. i went for a while, but got really ADD and couldn't stand it anymore. andrea and i went to visit kelly hupf at her apt. she=hilarious and cracks me up hardcore. katie came over to my room after i got back to see if i wanted to hit up some toppers with her. we wandered the halls and found some fellow toppers lovers to join us in my room for food and "family guy."
today i got to sleep in :) woke at 11:15. go me. i exercised my right to do NOTHING all afternoon. mary and i grabbed some lunch and went out rollerblading for a while. we visited some ex-wentzians and tried to visit some other people without luck. for din mary, matt, becky, sarah and i went to "exploratory surgery" at pizza doctors. how delish! becky made my week by, not tripping, but DIVING into the entrance after making serious eye contact with the gent behind the counter. how smooth. <3 you :) sarah, becky and i went to wal mart after to get some fun school stuff. mary, katie and i went to the all campus dance this evening. mary and i felt super sexy in our workout clothes. katie on the other hand looked adorable and was workin it hardcore with the fellas. atta girl! now it's all night movies in the wentz basement. "red dragon" is on. i got bored. i'll be back though!
