So right now I'm sitting in Matt's room. We just burned three cds to play over the rec speakers instead of the radio. Lots and lots of music. I've kind of taken over the bed with all my cd-burning paraphanalia: blank cds, sharpies, computer, etc and haven't moved for a good long time. The best thing is you can so tell which songs on the cd are mine and which are Matt's. It alternates from A Perfect Circle to Straylight Run to Nine Inch Nails to like John Mayer or something. Fun stuff. Yeah the John Mayer is totally Matt's...
Food tonight in the cafeteria was disgusting. I know no one cares, but I think that it was so disgusting it warrents documentation here. It was "Mardi Gras Day" and therefore the food was supposed to be cajun. They lied. I don't know what they had. Cigarette Butt Soup, Vomit Flavored Rice, and Water, apparently. I think due to the "war" Kyle From Work and I have waged and the food (or lack thereof) I will be avoiding the cafeteria for a while.
I'd like to announce that Ben Fold's newest cd comes out in April. Everyone should hear the first single, "Landed."
I think I'm a sucker for the piano. I accidentally ran into something the other day because I was listening/watching this guy that was playing some Ben Kweller on the one in the O.C.
So Christina told me that I should check out the free counseling that they give here. I think I'm going to. I don't really think I need it, but I guess I'll get it out of my system while it's free. And harmless. She brought up some ways in that it might be a good idea that I wasn't aware of, but then again, I'm not really aware of a lot of things...
So since attendance isn't taken, I'm only going to my grammar class on the days we get or need to turn in worksheets. It is like a math class and I've fallen asleep every day in it so far.
Finished 1984. What a book. It might now be my favorite.
