I need to be packing to go home for the weekend. But I am not, for lack of focus. This weekend is our family's "OMG Everyone from Everywhere Converges on One Place and Eats Tons of Yummy Food" pre-Christmas dinner. This "dinner" lasts TWO DAYS.

University maintenance men donning HARNESSES to help assemble the Christmas tree in the Union. Also, the ice cream shop in our town square has started making their gingerbread flavor, delightfully named Hansel and Gretel!

I love Christmastime! Even if I won't get to have Christmas with most of my family. :o(
