Pull back the shield between us, and I’ll kiss you. Drop your defenses and come into my arms. I’m all for believing, I’m all for believing. Say you will be there for me to hold, when faith grows old and life turns cold.
This verse starts midway through Born Under A Bad Sign when Dean leaves Jo in Duluth. Told through a series of one-shots, it follows Jo and Dean after she decides to follow after him and then stay on the road with him and Sam.
This was originally a long Dean/Jo story that I recently determined will work better as snapshots and such. (Or maybe I just got tired of working on it.) I’m not sure what else to say. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I could write a more in-depth summary, but I want to avoid spoilers.
Anyway, I do hope you enjoy and please leave a comment!
