Really Tiring Day

Jul 30, 2004 01:34

So I woke up at 7 after 2.5 hours of sleep to go to my endocrinologist and then came home to clean the house for about 3 hours for my mom (I felt like I owed her some favors anyway; haven't helped much around the house lately). Then, I had to do my laundry and get ready to pack for the trip to Philly. Around 5:30, I went and picked up Steve and we went to Mt. Clemens to that cool coffee shop and we just walked around. It was pretty empty for an evening...Steve and I agree that Mt. Clemens is more a daytime place....where during the day there are about as much people as are in Birmingham during the night, but during the night it is very empty. On the way home, Steve wanted to see the new downtown Macomb Twp. they were building and the new Rec. Center there is awesome!!!!! I wonder if it's free....they have a discovery zone-like playscape, an indoor full size pool with waterslides, a fully equipped gym, an indoor basketball court, and maybe even an indoor running track...and that's only what we could see from the outside. My dad was gonna take us to see Fahrenheit 9/11 but then he got caught up in phone calls...so Steve showed me this awesome new anime series he likes instead. It's really interesting, and It's scifi....so I like it.
Leaving for our trip tomorrow, so I'll talk to all of you guys as soon as I get back. Take care everyone.
