Nanotechnology

I thought this was in the experimental stage (in labs only), and that consumers would be notified when products are released with nanotechnology.  Call me naive.  They've gone past experimenting in the lab, and have already put hundreds of products on store shelves, WITHOUT telling us that nanotechnology is in there.  The companies who put these out have not determined how safe the products are.  I wonder what's next.
