With the refund from the BCF, I used it as credit to buy a new set of Sennheisers (damn awesome); I also used it to buy a thirty-gig external hard drive. My lappy's HDD is starting to fill up; out of 60 GiB, all I have left is 10 GiB. Wiped the defunct-ish SuSE 10.1 installation from my lappy and replaced it with a brand-spanking-new Fedora Core 6 installation, complete with AIGLX running atop Compiz, meaning kick-ass window effects.

My only minor gripe: they removed the "Install Everything" option from Anaconda. I suppose it was for the better ( Read more... )
