My baby daughter turned 21 this week. I do feel old.
A look in the mirror does confirm this. I decided about 18 months ago to let the fake colour in my hair grow out. When my hair (currently reaching about two still-faintly-coloured inches below my shoulders) is down, it looks okay. Grey-ish but okay. When I pull ist back, the white part at the temples shows and I see my late grandmother look back at me. Eeek!
I am currently listening my way through the Harry Potter books again. It makes me feel nostalgic.
I had Thursday and Friday off from work - and could get used to this. (I do love my work, though.)
My mother turns 80 tomorrow. She is in the process of selling her house and moving into a flat in the same town. I am in the process of making her see that she will not need to take all five porcelain coffee pots, seeing as she has not used any of them in the past 45 years.
