Progress!

I'm a good two thirds into Priestess of the White now and things are definitely looking up. I'm eager to pick up the book each time I have to put it down and don't necessarily put it aside after finishing a chapter. I'm even interested in seeing how things continue. Wohooo!

(I think I'll sneak in a couple of quickly-read ebooks before starting the sequel, though.)
