When Reading feels like Struggling
I'm about one third into Priestess of the White aka Book 1 of the Age of the Five trilogy by Trudi Canavan.
I had been forewarned that it's nowhere near as gripping a read as the Black Magician books are but of course I had to find out for myself. Well, what can I say? A constant change of scene and POV does not make this easy to focus on - and on top of that none of the main characters seems interesting enough to make this one unputdownable.
*sigh*
But persist I will - even if it might take me all month to read this. Off to tackle another chapter now.
