there is so much i could write about. my amazing friends. (all the time i spend with my best friend. dannys new tattoo career. my appreciation for mary (the only girl i would call if my parents were out of town)). but instead im going to focus on the concert.
i saw one of my all time favorite bands live. they were amazing. i cant express in words but i like them more since seeing them. i didnt know all the songs they played. (such as the one they played when a girl was brought on stage) that i wish i had. they put on a great show, and i can't wait to see them again. even if it means flying to scottland. (you might think im kidding, but i'm not). and next time i will be in the front row and stuart will look down and pull me up to dance with him and realize i am the only one for him. either that or i will just really enjoy the show again. (:
i was dissappointed in the new pornographers. (they arent strong enough preformers not to put on a show, play to the crowd, etc). i bitched too much at waffle house. im dumb.
the bottom line though? i loved it. im glad i went with who i did. morgan, clay, katie, spencer, and elaine. (plus seeing jesse&&meeting his girlfriend before the show was nice). they are top notch people.
one last thing. i had a revelation. you know those people who in your mind are on a pedestal. they can do no wrong? the ones you look up to or just admire. well i think it always happens where eventually you see them, really see them, for the first time and if your still ok with them ,then its better because you love the real them. well i saw an old friend at the show, one i hadnt seen in years, and had this sort of experience. i dont hate her, i just don't feel bad about loosing touch.
