apparently this is how i go

Last week
It's been a while since Hannibal brought Will food. And it's chicken soup. The illusion of caring is nice.

Ok, the dead girl getting gored by the elk and then bursting into flames and giving way to the elk with its horns still burning might be my new favorite image from this show.

Will's getting back on track to finding Hannibal! And now Jack's telling Hannibal. It's going to be interesting to see what happens when Hannibal sees him as more of a threat.

Ok good. Gillian's not dead. I was starting to wonder. How is she so gorgeous always? I'm glad to know Jack's getting concerned about Hannibal, though. And yeah, my theory that Hannibal attacked her is kind of proving true. I'm pretty sure he probably orchestrated that attack now, considering her sent her the patient who attacked her. Oh interesting. Hannibal killed his doctor's attacker. So interesting.

Where is Beverly indeed. Glad Jack is following Will's hunch. Oh Jack. You were so close, then you went just a little wrong. Then really wrong. In your defense, Hannibal is smarter than you.

"I'm protecting Will from influence. He has flaws in his intuitive beliefs about what makes him who he is. I'm trying to help him understand." There it is. Hannibal talking about shaping Will into something else. My theory! At least he's giving my theory lip-service. Even though it feels more and more like he just insinuated himself because he knew this was the guy who could catch him.

Whatever happens, I'm pretty sure Abigail is somehow going to end up dead. I think my favorite thing about Will's fugue state with Abigail is his shock when she asks if Hannibal told him about her involvement. Oh Will. Yeah, poor Abigail. And it looks like they're majorly jumping up their end game next week. The pacing of this show is just so impressive.

Finale
Now that we're starting off with Will trying to kill his elk, and since it is the elk from Hannibal's office, I'm finally wondering if the elk is supposed to be Hannibal. And can we also stop and address how much I love the way that things moves? And how creepy it is when it turns into a man? There really aren't words for how much I love Will Graham. I just, the damage and the trusting the exact wrong person with his sanity. And I buy right into the false care Hannibal shows him. Because of the way Will accepts it. They really are my favorite twisted romance.

I love how Beverly has gone from a side character with a bit of snark to one of my favorites. I love the way she challenges Will.

Come on Bloom! You're getting it! Please don't get dead before you get it.

Oh my. Hannibal can pull off tears. Such a good human suit. Also, it's impressive the how far his framing of Will went. Even making lures out the victims. Such a clever psychopath.

I do love when Will holes up in Hannibal's office like it's his special, safe space. It will be interesting to see what happens when that's destroyed.

Yes! Hannibal is the elk! That whole scene was something spectacular. Watching Will realize how he's been manipulated, all because of his specialness.

And there we go. I could never tell how much Hannibal's doctor really knew about his activities. Now I get the feeling that she knows quite a bit. And that end. Holy pants. Mirroring the scene when Clarice meets Hannibal for the first time. Will calling him Dr Lector in that tone that tells you that yes, he's really figured it out. And Hannibal and his smirk. I just love that smirk. I did have a feeling that it might end kind of like this, but it's so much better to actually see it.
