My father made it to the hospital and had his surgery, but he's not out of the woods yet. They are keeping him unconscious and on a breathing tube for 2 days, because if he moved around he could start bleeding again. He is getting blood transfusions to replace what he lost, and will need more surgery in 2 days time because the bleeding caused internal damage. He also lost circulation in his legs, and they are working to make it come back, but if they can't he could possibly lose toes or feet......
