I'm getting a job.
It looks as though I'm going to be joining the workforce.
A couple Data Entry jobs opened up where my mom works, so she's going to look into it for me.
I'll be working 40 hours a week, 9 to 5, Monday through Friday. I'm not sure what the wage is yet, but my mom knows it's not less than 8 dollars an hour, so within one week, I'd be making $320 before taxes. That's $320 more than I'm making right now, haha.
The good thing is that it won't interfere with cross country practice, it's only over the summer, and I have weekends off. Saturday and Sunday are really the only days I do anything anyways, so working M-F doesn't bother me. One thing about it is that it's out in Boca. Granted, I'd be going into work when my mom does, but still, Boca's a drive.
I have a drug test on Monday, and if I'm cleared [and I see no reason why I wouldn't,] I'll start on Thursday.
