Tin Man AUs

Apr 19, 2009 21:10

I have written the ninja Tin Man AU. I also wrote the dead samurai AU! I've been informed that there's a pirate AU out there somewhere as well, although I haven't gotten to read it yet. *SIGNIFICANT LOOK GOES HERE* AND, considering Kissy's getting zombies for her birthday, I am left with one very important question.

Who's writing the robot AU?

Blu's working on the pirates, or will be when school stops eating her.

I've got the cop AU happening, so... no robots for me. The only thing that comes to mind as roboty is lionille's "Two Moons Over Milltown" but that's not an AU, it just has a lot of robots in it. Including three Glitchdroids.

...how would a robot AU work. *PONDERS*

I really need to read that. I CONSTANTLY LOSE FIC. Way to fail, me.

My idea is a disturbing harelquin romance where Glitch makes a Cainbot and things go in a pygmalion sort of way. STILL! ROBOT. Holograms are not robots. Besides, whoever writes it is in charge of making a plot.

Also, your zombies are arguably from Laos.

Here ya go, for your bookmarking pleasure.

Hmmm, intriguing! Ill have to give it some thought, I'm not really robot-minded bt it might be a good mental challenge. Not that I'm doing it because, well, see my WIP post for more things I'm not writing.

...I love you. I feel I should make this clear.

I shall thank you for the attempt at linking and assume it's what blu gave me! \o/

And I'm not doing WIP posts anymore. They're embarassing and make me feel so guilty it hurts.

It's gonna be long, too. Probably. And potentially Ambrose/Az for a bit. You didn't hear this. Move along.

*waves* There are pieces of the pirate stuff floating about hither, thither, and yon, including me reading a piece, but it is vast and terrifies me, so... we will get there. *quails*

I am photoshopping Zooey Deschanel's head on a duchess, Alan Cumming's onto a pirate, and Kathleen Robertson's onto a naughty pirate outfit.

This is awesome.

Cold, confused, and alone. Oddly enough, only the last thing really bothered Glitch. How had he gotten so dependent on the others in such a short amount of time? It wasn't as if he couldn't survive without help. He'd done so for annuals.

There was really no option but to press on. He'd find DG, wherever she'd been taken. Perhaps he'd find the others along the way. Glitch slowly wandered to the entrance of the palace.

What he found upon exiting was quite a shock. Cain, soaked and starting to freeze over, lay sprawled unconscious in the snow. It only took a small amount of effort to flip him over. Glitch was vaguely expecting the blue-tinged lips and the look of pain on his face. Somehow even the bullet hole in Cain's chest wasn't surprising. He wasn't expecting wires instead of blood, the faint rattling of machinery instead of shallow breaths.

"Wow, Cain. That whole thing about not having a heart... I didn't know it was literally."

*points* I'd use the "DOO EEET" icon but this seems more appropriate.
