Summary: Kyon finally gives up and moves into an apartment. Mai happens to be living on the same floor. Hijinks.

Kyon pulled up the last of his few belongings behind him. Five floors and a long walk up to the village isn't even so bad when compared to the hill every day, and, really, so what if there's some antisocial impulses at the heart of it? Anyone would have mixed feelings in the same situation, especially given the time of year. Yeah, definitely!
It was a time fraught with memories already, and with Haruhi acting... weird, he didn't know what to think. He kicked his things into the room he'd arbitrarily chosen -- no one else, as far as he knew, being around -- and leaned against the wall for a moment, letting out a sigh.
Home, sweet home? Now he had to unpack and make the place not so barren and blank.
