"Oi---Mundy--Mulkle---whatever. Ship--there; enemy ship. You know how to sail?"

"It's Mulder... and, hm. I've played some pretty cutthroat games of Battleship, does that count?"
Mulder glanced up. Something was there. Still a ways off, but... it was gaining on them, from the look of it. He returned his attention to the pirate captain, he was good about putting two and two together.
"What exactly are you planning?"
Reply
That was STILL about the extent of the plan.
"Think of it, Munter! You! Me! Us! FLYING. Eh?"
Reply
"Yes! Flying!" His somewhat vacant grin faltered at that, veering towards a grimace. "W-with altitudes and trajectories and stuff. Um."
Right.

The prospect of flying on one of those was majorly tempting. Getting up there, and sticking it to the enemy at the same time... Mulder could get down with that. He could also get down with making the plan up as they went along. Some of his own plans often went like that, to Scully's dismay. He glanced at the newcomer, offering him a brief grin on seeing he looked well equipped.
"...That, I can do. Count me in."

And well before that ship is in range, Jack will have Toph send the metal grappling hook skyward. It will settle on the rail and the attached rope will give the party a way to climb right to the top, to the Third Party crew's surprise. It is a perilous climb, though, from the deck of the cargo ship to a boat some two hundred feet in the air and astern. Do not slip!

More or less, anyway. It was a long, rough climb up and it took a lot of concentration and effort to make it. Of course, no long stretch of climb would be complete without one terrifying moment of near slippage. And the accompanying moment of cursing fit for any pirate crewmember. Though after a tense moment, Mulder managed to recover enough to keep along the way, finally seeing the end in sight...

Still, a lot of enemy soldiers end up unconscious and tied rather than dead at Jack's hand.

Mulder has absolutely no qualms with killing the Third Party when he has to. He puts them on the same level as people like Krycek and the Cancer Man.

The Captain was already dead in his cabin, his throat slit.
"I think we've done it, Mustang. I think we've cleared them." The pirate took a moment to catch his breath and lean wearily against the rail.

The spell was broken when someone sprinted past him up the deck. Sprinting tended to mean trouble, and while his survival instincts told him to find the nearest route below his curiosity...had other ideas. So he scampered after Sparrow, hoping to maybe Learn Things.
"What's going on?"
