How the hell had it come to this?
On his way to the thirty-eighth room on the eighth floor of one of the community housing after finding out the address from the blonde program, McCoy had more than enough time to ruminate over this as he climbed the last flight of stairs and tried to catch is breath.
Right now, he was meant to be at the battle dome clinic doing research instead of acting like some goddamn tour guide from the welcoming center. And it wasn't like he could take the offer back now - even if she had been the one who had managed to wring it out of him - as he raised his hand and rapped his knuckles against her door with a scowl.
