Gem was curious about McCoy. That was probably one of the main reasons she chose to ask him for a tour, rather than someone else. He was foreign, yes, but there was also something about him that was decidedly familiar to her, reminding her of a few Programs that she knew.

He also seemed to react well to her charms, so that was always comforting. To know that even in this strange place, she wasn't without some options.

Hearing the door, Gem smoothed down her tight suit, her circuits flaring a bit brighter. "Wait a moment." Letting out a breath, she opened the door with a soft smile, quirking an eyebrow.

"Hello, Leonard. I appreciate you coming."

McCoy linked his hands behind his back, looking around the hallway as he waited for the program to emerge from her apartment, before he heard the door click open behind him. Turning to face Gem, he wasn't expecting to get an eyeful of a body suit and any discomfort at being addressed by his first name is forgotten because of it.

"I.. uh, didn't keep you waiting for too long, did I?" McCoy finally managed to drawl, his attention rapidly moving away from those glowing circuits running across her body to getting over his discomfort.

Gem caught a bit of his discomfort, but said nothing about it, simply raising an eyebrow in amusement. She was a Siren; she was designed to be alluring and pleasing to the male Program and User eye. It was simply part of her...and could cause trouble. Looking past the appearance was something she appreciated...she would see if McCoy was capable of that.

He had yet to correct her on using his first name, but would immediately stop if he gave any sign he disliked it--but until then Leonard was how she would address him.

"No you did not. I was simply filtering through my data processors." She smiled gently, gesturing for him to lead her. "I hate to say, but I am struggling to adjust here."

The doctor was used to garnering looks like the one he was receiving. Emony had been the same way, after she caught him staring at her during that competition so many years ago, and he cleared his throat. He didn't understand what she meant by data processors, but he didn't need to be a damn engineer to figure it was probably important.

"Can't that friend of yours help?" McCoy asked curiously with an arched eyebrow of his own, recalling how she mentioned another program was coming to her aid shortly after her arrival and -- probably belatedly -- unlinked his hands from behind his back and offered his arm for Gem to take. Some things never changed.
