I want a meaning from the back of my broken hand

Who: gotmebones and a_slayer_slays.
What: "Why is it, whenever we meet, I end up bleeding?".
When: The afternoon of the third of February.
Where: House #7.
Summary: The good country doctor is obstinate that Buffy remains in the house while she is still recovering her strength, while the Slayer feels otherwise about this. Too bad they are both about to get what they want.
Rating: PG-ish because of Bones' mouth, I presume.

McCoy had grown loathsomely accustomed to having to deal with the injuries after someone being detained by the Malnosso. Even more so than the various injuries villagers turned up with after bickering with one another or refusing to take care of themselves in the current weather and falling ill. Emerging from his room sometime in the afternoon (after giving Brown a farewell pat for the day), McCoy went to check on the Captain and the Slayer before leaving the house and beginning his shift at the clinic, rapping on the wooden door with his knuckles and waiting for a reply from either one of them. When no muffled answer came from inside, he opened the door ajar and peered inside the room. Kirk was passed out asleep and recovering, which meant Summers had to be elsewhere in the house.

Closing the door quietly again, he moved away from the room and into the living room. It had been thirty days after she was returned from her second experimentation and Summers was still no closer to regaining even just a fraction of her former strength; she snarked at him for bringing this up during medical examinations, but their conversations had been far too terse lately for the two of them... something which had not been even remotely remedied after the doctor threw himself into what workload he had found himself with in this other world.

McCoy did not have to travel far to find Summers as he came across a familiar sight and he crossed his arms over his chest before he addressed the blonde-haired Slayer pulling on a pair of boots. "And just where do you think you're going?"
