The General surveyed the chaos with a hard gaze; he would not allow them to lose this battle. Not with so much at stake.

The rest the carnage was largely meaningless to Nina for the time being. Though she oh-so would love to go into the melee and rip the foes apart herself, she was confident that the others would do this for her. And besides, work always came before fun.

Thus, she moved quickly and quietly as one could under these circumstances, breaking though the lines to get to the general himself. Not that she avoided skirmishes entirely, but she didn't bother to perpetuate or otherwise finish those small fights she got in. Her promise to Yuri was that she would eliminate the officers.

This man, with this firm-looking disposition and general feeling of command was obviously the commander here. If he wasn't, he should be. His position assisted in giving him away. Thus, her first reaction to getting in range is ( ... )

The click of a hammer release was enough to draw the General's sharp attention, and he snapped his gaze to the side; the bullet bore down on his temple and-

Through it. Not as a stone would pass through an illusion, but his skull had literally opened a hole for it to pass through, given way and released it on the other side. It buried itself harmlessly into the rock behind him.

Fire red hair flashed and the General faced the new threat, palms lifted as if to deflect Nina's voidblade with only his hands.

Oh. That was impressive. That was very impressive. She's fought things on kin with that before - Hatred Lords or Illuminati came to mind, let alone Infertani himself - but to see this after all her time in Luceti almost made her feel out of practice. Almost.

Normally she'd try to land a kick there, but she knew that would be foolhardy with strength like this being clearly had he could grab and snap her ankle with a human body like this. As such, he skirted back with the blade there - willing it to have at least cut his skin. Glance there.

And then a vein twitched in her forehead. The only tell for the air around his shoulders erupting in a small fireball.

GUESS WHO'S BACK!! bigbluehat August 29 2009, 22:12:56 UTC
Sasarai emerged from seemingly out of nowhere. His priestly robes, adorned with the symbols of the Circle Rune and the Seal of Holy Harmonia, seemed to fly in the breeze. Golden energy swirled about him, as if preparing for something. He did not speak a word to anyone, and only raised his right hand as he approached the oncoming forces of the enemy. The Malnosso had kept their end of the bargain... now it was time to keep his.

"LAND OF ETERNITY!!!" he called out, the True Earth Rune appearing above him in a massive holographic image, signaling its summoning. The Dragon of Earth let out a fearsome roar, knowing that its power had been called forth.

Stomping the ground below, gigantic rock formations shot towards the sky. This was the power of a True Rune. Complete natural calamity was being brought to the battlefield. And Sasarai had ever intention of earning back his title of Bishop General.

[[ The spell will only damage those soldiers coming closest to the ground, but it's pretty much an instant kill. The number of dead is up to ( ... )

Upon spotting Sasarai's approach, a group of ten soldiers broke off from the main force to hurtle towards the Bishop General. Half of the forces dove down to rush him as the other five circled like vultures, waiting to strike.

The first five caught the brunt of the attack and were thrown to the mountains below; they bounced, rolled and skidded down the mountainside, rocks, dirt and gravel flowing around their bodies like a river of granite. Finally, they reached a halt and lay there, unmoving.

The other five exchanged glances in the air; two more dove in to attack.

"Have at you!" Sasarai called, blasting at them with his sigil ring. They were small and concussive, nothing terribly serious, but he needed time to prepare another spell. If he could get them on the ground...

The two soldiers took the shots in the leg and the shoulder and staggered; one fell to the ground clutching his leg, but the other reared back to join the three from before and circled over Sasarai, searching for an opening.

Anti-Air forces 1week_wizard August 29 2009, 22:19:29 UTC
Patchouli immediately flew up, all of her artifacts (the guiding grimoire and Philosopher's Stones) following her in kind. Immediately a mass of glowing colors began to form around her. Summoning Circles opened and spread out as far as she could throw them, covering a HUGE portion of the sky. The guiding grimoire darted to their charted location, some even flying past the enemy. Her eyes began to glow a violent read.

"Fine then, if you dare challenge the One Week Wizard, you will only find pain as your reward!" she cursed to herself. The lights began to glow even brighter, creating a brilliant luminary. It was a sight to behold...

"Spellcard: Seven Elements of the Holy Week

'True Philosopher's Stone'!!!!The five crystals exploded into a flood of bullets in every color. They flew towards the enemy, literally blanketing the sky in light. But their purpose didn't seem to be to actually strike the enemy... rather she just gave them a hell of a time dodging them, placing them right where Yuan wanted them ( ... )

Yuan was waiting for that. He'd seen the enemies approaching long beforehand with his angelic senses and had started casting as soon as they were close enough. A magic glyph appeared beneath his feet while he chanted the spell. He couldn't cast Judgment; not with so many allies who could get hit. But his strongest lightning-based spell shouldn't be a problem.

"I call upon thee in the land of the dead to unleash thy fury of thunder!"

Already, the surrounding air was starting to crackle threateningly. As Patchouli's voice sounded nearby, signalling it was his turn, he finished the spell and summoned forth its power.

"Indignation!"

Another glyph appeared, this time surrounding a few of the herded soldiers. There was an explosion of lightning, thunder seemingly causing the sky to rumble. It took three, maybe four soldiers out of the air, but many more appeared to take their place. This was going to be a long battle.

[[OOC: Uh... ffft. As for what's going to happen to Yuan in the duration of this battle, he'll just keep on fighting ( ... )

As Yuan's spell dies down, he may be pleased to notice that another, identical glyph is forming where his had just disappeared. Not too far away, Genis is busy casting the same spell, kendama held tight in his hand.

"-- to unleash the fury of thunder! Indignation!"

Genis allowed himself a grim smile of satisfaction as a couple of angels fall from the attack. Yet more angels appeared to replace them, and the teenage mage chanced a glance at his fellow half-elf.

"I kinda wanted to see what'd happen if we tag-team them with some well-timed Indignation's."

[ooc: Genis will be helping with the anti-air force, but once they start breaking through the barricade, he'll be joining Lloyd and supporting him with some well-placed spells. He'll get a little knocked around and a little worn out while on defense duty up here, but nothing too serious yet!]

Yuan glanced to the side as well, a smirk appearing on his face. It's almost as if he approved of that Indignation spell Genis managed to cast. Truth is, he did. That kid's a natural when it came down to magic.

"Up for some more?" he questioned, turning his gaze back to the angels. He could probably take a few more down with Indignation before switching to simpler attacks that would cost less energy.

Sora and Roxas valorandwisdom August 29 2009, 22:23:58 UTC
{{MERGING after a couple posts, no talking, can get kind of beat up but no bad injuries, wonderkid powers activate, fight until there's no enemy left, cutting down/knocking out a fair swath, numbers up to you. Separation at end.}}

Not again. Sora had already survived one attack on his home, survived it because he'd been a replacement, and it had set him on the path to everything else that had happened. And even though this wasn't his real home, it was still a world and lots of people that needed protecting, and so the normally cheerful boy was pretty damn fierce as he watched the enemy advance. And when they were close enough-

"Let's go!" He would always be a much more physical fighter than a magician, and he shoved hard off the ground, Keyblade up to defend his life and the lives of his friends.

Not too far off to Sora's left, there was another boy running onto the scene, Keyblades drawn and heading toward the brunet.

This was his life; he had been born and immediately after he was sent out to kill. This time it was different though; this was to protect people, to help his friends and protect a place he actually felt he belonged in. It didn't take him long before he approached his other, easily keeping up with him.

"Sora, are you ready for this?"

"You know it!" There was a grin flashed at his Nobody, then Sora dove to the right to avoid one of the winged things, rolling up to his feet and shaking his hair out of his vision. And then he caught sight of Roxas again, and jumped towards him, reaching out with his empty hand.

"ROXAS!"

Roxas swung Oblivion up as one of the winged things swooped down toward him, glancing at Sora and nodding. He knew exactly what Sora wanted and he was ready for it. He didn't even have any second thoughts as he grabbed onto Sora's hand and jumped, re-merging back with his other.

He blinked then, noticing that he was seeing things through Sora's eyes instead of his own and that Oblivion and Oathkeeper had disappeared. It had to be done. They needed each other to finish this off.

HELLZ YEAH HOUSE FOUR ALL OUT ASSAULT FORCE... CHAARGE! hotheadedidiot August 29 2009, 22:26:12 UTC
Stahn walked down the battlefield, sword in hand, his scarf fluttering in the wind. His housemates, who had agreed to work together to take down their enemies, followed along in tandem. This was the moment for them, the one they had prepared for these past couple days. Their weapons at the ready, they were prepared to strike down any who got in their way.

And at that moment, a soldier came running towards him. "Demon Fang!", Stahn cried out, sending the powerful shockwave speeding towards the soldier.

"Let's do this!" Vyse shouted, a valiant smirk tugging at his lips as he charged forward. He was eager to kick some butt and it showed. These guys had made it clear they were bearing the intent to kill, so the Blue Rogue captain wouldn't show them any mercy. His twin cutlasses flashed in the sunlight as he used them to slash at the first soldier he encountered.

He'd give those intruders hell for messing with Luceti.

Kyle wasn't going down without a good fight. He fought many enemies before and he will do it again for the sake for the people in Luceti. He was both mentally and physically preparing himself for this. As the soldiers came his way, he gripped his sword. "Azure Edge!" Kyle cried as he slashes the enemies and continuing to do so.

Close by the other three, Leon readied his swordian, Chaltier. Whispering a quick line or two of encouragement to the blade, he charged at the closest enemy, leaping into the air to pull off an arte (one in which he will spiral upwards in the air while slashing, ending with a diagonal downward thrust) in the hopes of knocking it to the ground for the others. "Swallow Talon!"

[[OOC: Leon'll likely take down at least four or so (counting any he helps Stahn, Vyse, or Kyle to take out, if he does) before taking too much of a beating to continue. He'll retreat when that happens.]]
