#69: metal torrent, shelf absurdity

May 30, 2010 23:52

I never thought I'd get to play Arika's DSiWare vertical shooter Aa Mujou Setsuna. But it arrived on the North American store last week as Metal Torrent, and it's excellent as expected. It's light on modes and options but the enemy bullet patterns are varied and fierce. Further impressions forthcoming

Wii Channel page win? The four Art Style titles' icons flow together: Orbient's icon starts its animation, then Cubello's, then Rotohex's, then Light Trax's.

I recently did the Virtual Console version of Rondo of Blood and enjoyed Richter Belmont's pixellatd mug :>

Doom II came out on Xbox Live Arcade last Wednesday and I tried out online play for the heck of it. But I didn't have much luck connecting to anyone: the one match I had was so lagged that any right-stick tap sent my view circling everywhere. It didn't end so well!

I hardly ever see all three Castlevania GBA cartridges all at once.

Men want big money

A local indie game shop apparently has trouble getting rid of its stock here ...

The store acknowledges Suikoden 2's "value" -- but I'd rather explode than oblige!

These import King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match and Nests Collection titles found their way amid a sea of domestic releases -- hopefully folks don't fall for them

Will these titles remain here for the next 1,400 years?!

Monster Hunter 3 writing for the win

Sea World shows wit ... or do they deserve to be punished lol lol

"J: Can Prinny really be the hero with this many copies left lol"

"J: Oh nooo the Blue M&M had a sex change =\ It's not light faded at all!"
