Hey, what's going on? Not much is happening with me. Just recuperating, I guess. I ate so much food today and got up way too early (10:00), :) so I'm all sleepy and full of chocolate (right now it's chocolate, anyway... the rest of the day it's been nachos, cheese, chips, bacon, eggs, turkey dinner...). But it's been an awesome day. I love Christmas so much, even though it's almost the same thing every year: get up, bug Mom and Dad to open presents, complain while Mom and Dad take too long (making fire, doing hair), laugh when they take longer just to make us mad. Read Christmas story, finally start handing out presents. Have fun as everybody likes (hopefully) the things you got them (Dad really liked the tools we got him, and Mom was happy with her ironing board cover and her soap! [yes, that's what she wanted!]). :) Open lots of cool things from everyone. Try to keep Pepi and Pinky away from the wrapping paper. Give Pepi Dentabones for a present (which she demolishes in about three minutes). Eat lots of food. Play with presents. Sure it's the same every year, but I really do love it all. It's such a good time.
And this year everyone was so nice and gave me all kinds of things I wanted (and needed, of course) :). My parents gave me Taboo (now everyone will be subjected to board games hehehe!), some really nice clothes, and a pair of awesome boots. My grandparents gave me money (how smart grandparents are!) along with pajama pants I think? Denise made soap (can you imagine, making soap!) and gave me a Bible study book (to straighten me out from all that Ms. New Testament) :), and Jen gave me these amazing fuzzy slippers. And Joey, man, that boy went all out and got me a whole bunch of cds, movies, and gift certificates. Talk about the smartest boyfriend ever! Oh and he's buying me a 64 after Christmas too, along with Donkey Kong and Zelda *yesss* !! :) And even his family got me presents (this made me feel horribly guilty)--I got stuff from his mother (she crocheted me an amazing hat!), his sisters, his aunts, his cousin... I couldn't believe it. I didn't expect that at all, and didn't even buy them cards. So now I have to figure out when all their birthdays are. Cody's is Jan 12, so I better remember at least that one. He picked out this little stuffed snowman, and this teeny Scooby-Doo ornament... man, I feel sooo guilty...
But anyway. Even in spite of that, and in spite of fighting with my Super Nintendo (the cord did not want me to hook it up) and with Joey (but he apologized) :) it has been an amazing day. I'm really lucky to have everybody. They're so good to me. Spending the day just hanging out and enjoying each other's company was great... Man, I love Christmas!! :)
