It was with a heavy heart that K got up to follow Zell. He had finally admitted to what he had done, and he had seen the consequence. Watching Zell walk away, even if he turned back, made him feel as if a riven had opened up between him and everything he knew now. Maybe he had made a mistake telling the other man what had happened, but there was

Since K had suggested they use them, she had been trying to "set hers up", for all intents and purposes. She could only assume it was magical in the first place because her previous entries, her previous life had been erased from it's pages.
Of course, Claudia never really got along with technology of any kind, and the journal was refusing to cooperate. She let out a sigh of frustration, wondering if she should just get another one for the express purpose of keeping in touch with others. Claudia couldn't bear to part with the one she had now; it was too personal, holding dear memories even though they were no longer recorded on it's pages.

Normally, he might have taken a chair; over the years he had mellowed out enough that he could force himself to sit still (albeit barely). Right now, however, that was simply not going to happen, so he opted to stand instead, shifting from foot to foot.
K's comment seemed to fly in out of nowhere, and it caught him completely off guard. Perhaps a little sad, considering he knew what was going to happen, but he wasn't about to admit it. The next comment, though? He wasn't even remotely prepared for that.
He instantly froze in place, throwing his hands up and head back in astonishment.
"Uhh..." he provided articulately.
Hey, he wasn't going to be the one to say it.

He did what??
Although prostitutes weren't really common in Silent Hill, that did not exempt the town from having nightclubs and other ungodly places like that, and Claudia was pretty sure that she had heard K say that he, in fact, became a prostitute.
"You did what?" She gaped, but her horror was magnified when Ed blurted out something about... the military?!
"What?! What does the military have to do with this? I thought he became a prostitute!" Claudia exclaimed quite bluntly.
