Heart --Traverse Town [COMPLETE]

It was with a heavy heart that K got up to follow Zell. He had finally admitted to what he had done, and he had seen the consequence. Watching Zell walk away, even if he turned back, made him feel as if a riven had opened up between him and everything he knew now. Maybe he had made a mistake telling the other man what had happened, but there was ( Read more... )

He paused, waiting for K to catch up. It was going to be hard on the man, he knew. He wondered what it had taken to admit to the truth. He couldn’t comprehend doing such a thing. But then, not everyone handled things the same. Some people were naturally more optimistic, some more pessimistic, some more idealistic, some more pragmatic. The ratio to each in any individual was anyone’s guess. And in the end, It looked like there was no proper blend. So what to do? The only way Zell really knew how to live was to follow his heart, to trust his dreams. And he didn’t want it any other way.

He frowned when K leaned against the building, but he said nothing. He didn’t want to push him if he wasn’t ready. There were some things people had to do on their own.

Even so, a little support never hurt anyone, right?

“I’ll come with you,” he told the other man. Of course, he was stilled banned from the cafe. But the owner could go screw himself. Some things were more important. He started walking again. He didn’t know who there people were, but he really hoped that they were truly the man’s friends, that they could find it in themselves to understand, if only a little.

As he approached, he could see the owner there, giving him a look of warning. He shot him one back that clearly marked he was going to do this whether he like it or not, one that said if he got in his way he'd regret it.

The man seemed to get the message.

Claudia couldn't figure out her journal.

Since K had suggested they use them, she had been trying to "set hers up", for all intents and purposes. She could only assume it was magical in the first place because her previous entries, her previous life had been erased from it's pages.

Of course, Claudia never really got along with technology of any kind, and the journal was refusing to cooperate. She let out a sigh of frustration, wondering if she should just get another one for the express purpose of keeping in touch with others. Claudia couldn't bear to part with the one she had now; it was too personal, holding dear memories even though they were no longer recorded on it's pages.

Well, that was a waste of time...

Claudia let out an irritated huff, closing the journal and looking over to where Ed was. At least, she hoped he was still there.

"Have you heard anything from K yet?"
