It didn't take much for Larxene to leave Hollow Bastion, both in terms of physical effort and motivation. She merely opened a "hole in space," as she thought of it, (an ability she discovered by accident some time ago) and stepped through. Why did she leave? She merely had no reason to stay. Nor did she have a specific destination in mind. Instead, she wandered aimlessly through the dark pathways that twisted and wound between worlds. When she bored of that, she stepped through again. This time, the world was covered in the dark cloak of twilight, though it had a similar urban environment. Briefly, Larxene wondered if she had merely happened to arrive at nightfall or if the world was always this gloomy, but since she actually didn't care either way the thought quickly left her.
Lacing her fingers behind her back, Larxene began to sedately walk down the cobblestoned street. The cold air bit at the back of her mouth and nose; a curious sensation she hadn't experienced in a long time. Though that meant it was too cold for thunderstorms, unfortunately. After a few minutes of walking, she paused under a lamppost and watched as two Shadow Heartless coalesced from the wet ground and, twitching in their almost insectlike way, scurried away after some unknown target. Larxene made no move to follow, though she was well aware they would likely prey on some innocent; if it didn't affect her in any way, why should she waste the energy? So she merely watched with an impassive face as their dark bodies disappeared into the gloom.
