On the way back to the little sloop, he made very well sure that a couple necessities were brought along for the trip: From a still-breathing carcass on the roadside he acquired a half-consumed container of rum, then for some unknown reason to the pirate he happened across a little jar of paprika toss on the road which was picked up as well. Any wallet or unsuspecting drunk who looked unawares was searched for wallets or other valuable items-even if he didn’t need then, sticky fingers were a hard habit to unstick.
With more money and more seasoning than Jack had come to port with, he worked his way back to the black little sloop he had docked through one of the tavern walls. Peeking around the corner a couple buildings down, the scallywag scanned for the not-so-blue-coat who had threatened him earlier. Nowhere in sight-a relief!
Head ducked under the tricorn hat, he made his ways back up to the ship, and tried scurrying his way into the hold. If Mister Norri wasn’t about, then he didn’t look to set on keeping that promise and or threat he had earlier...er..threatened.
All Jack had to do was figure out how to make the thing move again.
