I woke up today in a lousy mood but as always, a nap fixes most things. Even though my "nap" is routinely 2hr long.
I was privately emailed, being the president of the school's LGBTQ club, to act as a resource for a legal situation. If someone had told me 6 months ago I would be handling things like this, I really wouldn't have believed you! That said, I am super fucking proud of how much I have done as the President this semester (and planning over the summer.) We've held SIX EVENTS in a 13-week semester; I think that's phenomenal. Including hosting a piece of the national AIDS Quilt, which truly humbled me. I should probably write more about this stuff but it's just been - really something else, things I never expected and how people around the school know me now and.
Of course, I'm also exhausted and looking forward to not being on-the-ball for a month!
I did this last year, so hopefully some of you know the way it works. Go leave an anonymoose comment about how much you dis/like me or just to wish a happy holidays. (I have last year's saved on my phone when I need a pick-me-up.) I love you all, even if I'm not around this space as much.
