I'm eagerly awaitin' the broadcast of Dr Who: Voyage of the Damned with our very own Koylie! December tele in Oz is a dead zone & has been ever thus. While other kids enjoyed Frosty the Snowman & similar saccharine fare, my favorite piece of Yule-TV remains The Twilight Zone episode: The Star, Arthur Clarke's short tale of faith & supernova. It's only 12 minutes long so if you crave somethin' a little different while waitin' for Who, feel free to download. I've also included my idea of a Christmas Cartoon, namely The Tick loves Santa! It's a certified cure for Humbuggery my friends! ...um, that ain't right! Anyways; grab it, watch it, you'll not regret it!
That's what's wrong with kids today, their television is mondo crapola. It could also be their toys are tryin' to kill 'em. With the very best of intentions, I gave my baby brother his 1st blade for Chrismukkah but my mom hit the roof! In fact, I ain't seen her that furious since I flew our housekeeper's pants big, white poncho from the turret! It's precisely the gift Jayne'll get for Zoe's baby in Serenity 2 but unbeknownst to me, it'd been recalled due to saftey concerns. How could I have known? Sure, there were warnin' ads on the tele but like I said, it's December!
Apparently, there's a chance some small screws in the design may be swallowed by children under 3. ::outraged:: The insult! What happened to craftsmenship? What happened to quality? Is it some dastardly plot to extend China's 1 child policy to the rest of the world? If they can't dumb us to death with lead, they'll choke our children instead? Gorram Alliance...
