meme: in character letter v.2

I've been playing around disutansu's meme as Yanagi Renji. XD;; I did this meme before last year and got an interesting turnout. It's quite fun rereading. ^__^ (I'm quite bored out of my mind, so I will SPAM you back!!)

A-Anou... Lucathia-san? Ah, doumo... this is fourth company's Yamada Hanatarou desu. Sorry for dropping in without notice. Even though... you were expecting me? M-My name is on the list, so that's what it means, doesn't it?

This 'machine' is really difficult to use. I hope I don't do anything wrong, or worse, break it. @_@ Uwah~ I should have asked someone from twelfth company to help me. They use these all the time during their research. But then... they must be really busy.

So... um, I'm sorry for talking so much. I shouldn't be wasting your time. A-AH! Unohana-taichou is coming, I should go. Sorry. m(__)m

[Kyaaa! Hanatarou!! Fitting icon~ ♥ ]

Hanatarou, thank you for the letter even though you found the computer hard to use! I'm honored that you wrote me something despite all the hassle. Your name being on the list means that I was hoping for you to write me as it'd make me very happy, so thank you for doing so! :) I was getting a little lonely here!

You didn't do anything wrong. I got your letter just fine. :D Though, if there's anything you don't understand, asking someone won't hurt. I'd be glad to help too!

Say hello to Unohana-taichou for me, though she probably doesn't know me...hm, in that case, maybe not then. ^^;; Hearing from you was wonderful. I hope I didn't take up too much of your time. =x

So our Data Master told me that he found this page when he was researching something yesterday. Hey.

Heh, I'm not really into writing emails but Yanagi was pretty firm about it. So here I am, writing this. Not what I would personally like to waste my free time on, but not exactly the worse thing to be stuck with either - at least it's not laps again.

Your site layout is cool; rather like the fish-bone designs. Are you into tennis? We're definitely going to deliver Seigaku's ass back to them on a plate in the Nationals - you can come watch us if you like. I'm not sure if I'm playing doubles or singles this round though; Yukimura's being all secretive over it. Puri~ Not that it'll make a difference - that match is definitely mine.

Well, gotta go. Jaa~

[Sorry, IP logging is now turned off. X3;; Should have done that beforehand, but I couldn't find the place to do that until I headed to the FAQS. Utter fail!]

I wonder what Yanagi-san was researching to have found this place...

Thanks for the email. I'm glad it's better than laps. :)

I'm quite fond of collecting fishbone-related items. My layout sort of reflects that, I suppose. Tennis? Yup, I'm into tennis. I play a one set match with my brother now and then, but lately he's been busy so we haven't been hitting much. I'd love to watch you guys at Nationals. I wouldn't miss it!

Do you like singles or doubles better? Either way, I hope you'll enjoy your match.

-Lucathia

P.S. If Yanagai-san is about, would you thank him for me? I appreciate that he pointed you towards this post.

[You're an awesome Niou!!! XDDD]

Hey again. Lucathia, isn't it?

Yeah, anything's better than laps these days. Not that you'll catch me complaining though; Sanada's a stiff, but you're pretty much screwed if you breath so much as a mutter in Yukimura's direction.

I'll let Yanagi know he can stop nagging at me to be responsible and stuff. Besides, you're a pretty cool person to like both fish bones and tennis - how about a one-on-one match one day? I could use a challenge once in a while.

Singles or doubles - as long as they ensure victory, I really can't be bothered much about which I'm playing in. Playing doubles with Yagyuu's alright though - we're pretty in sync on court and the switch is always amusing to pull off anyway. Wouldn't be surprised if I got singles this time round in the Nationals, if just as a trump card against Seigaku.

Time for practice; see ya.

Niou-san,

Ah, your tennis team seems to run very differently from mine. Back when I was on the tennis team, we didn't have a captain. We had a very strict coach though, who'd lecture us for hours if we didn't stop him, but we love him anyways.

A one-on-one match? That sounds great. I haven't played against many left-handed players before. And your style is particularly tricky. I don't think this match would benefit you as much as it does for me though. I hope you won't be too disappointed.

Ah, so you don't have any particular preference for singles or doubles? Well, except for victory? You seem like a singles person, but you do so well in doubles. It's really something to be able to play both singles and doubles well.

I personally like singles better. There's much more freedom. But I've been placed in doubles most of the time and have come to depend on my partner a lot. It feels different without my partner with me while I play.

Thanks for writing me again!

Lucathia-san,

My apologies for taking so long to write a message to you. Nationals has been time-consuming, so much so that it's been a while since I wrote to anyone as a matter of fact.

But putting my excuses aside, I confess to pleasant surprise when Niou very casually remarked someone was waiting to hear from me, someone outside Japan no less. Which part of the US do you live in? And if you would indulge me, how did you come to know of us?

I'm afraid I must end my letter here. My training is overdue as I write and Niou is waiting with his habitual impatience. Perhaps when Nationals come to an end, we can exchange letters a bit more often. In the meantime, take care and I hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,
Yagyuu Hiroshi.

P/S: Niou wishes to inform you that not all of Rikkai write like "someone with a stick stuffed up his ass." I on the other hand, wish to explain not all of Rikkai are inclined to write letters with no sense of decorum.

Define 'sense of decorum', Yagyuu.

And you'd better be thanking me for pointing you here; that's what manners are for after all, eh?

Meaning one doesn't carelessly curse in front of any respectable person so easily. Not everyone's immune to such a display from you.

Thank you for directing me here. Now kindly return the favour to Yanagi.

Yagyuu.

I distinctly remember refraining from any kind of swearing when I commented, Gentleman-sama. And quite a feat it was too, I'm proud to say.

Done and done even before you said to; how's that for being polite? Anyway, one-on-one match later before practice - you game?

A-A-Anou, this is Mi-Mihashi. A-Abe-kun was telling me that someone on the internet was asking for letters from... me? *gets all woozy and slips off his chair*

fdlkjs jkfldljs <--*from accidentally hitting the keyboard as he gets back onto his chair*

Ah, s-sorry. Lucathia-san, is it? Yes, sorry. I'm just... not very good at this. M-Maybe you'd like to talk to someone else? Like Abe-kun? He's really amazing... as a catcher and a person. I'm really lucky to have him. *blush*

*diamond-mouths again* A-AH! I should be at practice! Abe-kun will be mad if I'm late. S-Sorry, Lucathia-san!

*rushes off*

Mihashi <--*comes back to sign his name and sends letter*

[/possible OOC'ness as this person only watched five episodes]

[SOOOO ADORABLE. No OOC'ness at all! *hugs*]

Mihashi-san,

Thanks for writing me! It's great hearing from you. I was afraid you might...shy away from writing to someone you didn't know. I just wanted to tell you that you're an amazing person for always trying so hard, and you're an awesome pitcher who'll become even greater.

To think, your entire team consists of all first years! All of you will improve a lot, and you'll be able to be together for three whole years. :)

Abe-san must be really important to you. It's wonderful to have someone you can rely on, isn't it? I'm sure he relies on you too.

Thank you for writing me before practice! ♥

-Lucathia

[THAT is so very Mihashi at the end with the signature. XDD]

Lucathia-san,

*diamond-mouths* Mi-"Mihashi-san"? N-No, Lucathia-san, "Mihashi" is okay. Even "Mihashi-kun." I... just didn't want to be rude and not answer. Then you'd be mad at me, wouldn't you? *tears bubbling up in eyes* I don't want you to h-hate me before we even met. T________T

A-Amazing? It's a lie. A-A-Awesome? It's a lie! Me? A lieeee! *bawling* K-Kanou-kun is a better pitcher than me... But... I-I really like being a pitcher. I hope... at least, Abe-kun will help me do better. I think... I rely on him much more than he does to me.

I... will wait for your reply, Lucathia-san. Thank you.

Mihashi

[OMG I SO TOOK THAT FROM EPISODE THREE. I COULDN'T RESIST. I'M SORRY.]

[THIS IS SO MIHASHI AND SO UTTERLY CUTE THAT I WAS STUPIDLY GRINNING AT MY MONITOR FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG!!??? There's absolutely nothing to be sorry for!!! XDDD ]

Ah, oh, er, is it okay if I call you Mihashi-kun then? I like how that sounds. Again, thanks for writing me. I wouldn't have thought you rude even if you hadn't written me. I know you must be busy with practice, so thanks for taking the time to write me!

You're truly amazing, Mihashi-kun!! It's true! You're so hardworking and determined, I'm in awe. You never give up the mound even though yours is the most stressful position there is! So don't say it's a lie! Hm, though I suppose having Abe-san support you takes away some of the stress...? At least, I hope so! And maybe you do the same for him. :)

Good luck with your training and your matches. You all have so much potential. ♥

Hey, Lucathia_Rykatu! Can I call you Lucathia-chan? I want to thank you for including me on the list. It's probably even better than placing first in the concours! :DDD AHH! Wait a moment ne, Lucathia-chan? Someone's trying to get away.;jifao *abruptly gets up and pulls someone back*

...Hihara-senpai, I don't know why I'm here, but I would rather return to my violin practice. The next selection is coming up, and this is a waste of time.

Sparing just five minutes to talk to a pretty girl isn't a waste of time, Tsukimori. Sorry Lucathia-chan, this guy isn't... *trying to yank him back* ...very... cooperative. *gets him to sit down*

...

*psst* Say something, Tsukimori.

*glare*

Ah mou, do you want me to type for you? Let's see... fdskj *keyboard gets taken away*

Lucathia-san, I cannot afford to spare any time for these... memes. I need to go.

Ah... there he goes. He's really difficult to talk to, isn't it? ^^;; Sorry about that, Lucathia-chan. I'll come by to talk to you later. It's almost lunch time, and I need ( ... )

Sure, Lucathia-chan is fine with me. Or even Luca-chan, if you like something shorter. I'm sure placing first in the concours is better than being on my list... .////. Eh, who's getting away...?

Oh! Hi there, Tsukimori-san. I'm sorry for taking up your time...good luck with your violin practice! That is, if you're still reading this...

Thank you, Kazuki-san (is it okay if I call you that?) for getting Tsukimori over here. :) Ah, I hope I didn't make you late for lunch! It'd be terrible if all the sandwiches you like were gone! I hope you managed to get what you wanted there!

It was great hearing from you! :)

-Lucathia

[Adorable, really. Entirely something I can imagine. ♥]

Maa, I think Tsukimori left already. I was going to tell him to apologize properly to you! Maybe tomorrow when I see him at school.

Hmm... Luca-chan sounds weird. But I see there's a cat next to your name, so Neko-chan? That's cute. :DDD And you have fishbones everywhere, so you must be a very satisfied (and full) cat. *hee*

Well, don't you know that there's concours all the time, but only one Neko-chan and only one of her lists that's even more selective than the concours? I am really lucky to be on here! Don't worry, Neko-chan, I'll tell Tsukimori to talk to you tomorrow. *nods with determination*

*blushes slightly* Of course you can! Since you let me call you whatever I want. Calling me by my first name is... *blushes more* We-Well, it's good. Yes.

I got my lunch just fine, thank you, Neko-chan! Though talking to you would have been worth missing lunch. I hope we can talk again soon!

[I can entirely imagine Hihara saying stuff like this. XDDDD]

Kazuki-san,

It's okay, no apology needed. :) Tsukimori-san must have something important to do.

N-neko-chan? I haven't been called that before. But I like it. I guess it makes sense with all the fishbone stuff! I'll have you know I'm not gluttonous though...^^;;

Er, when you put it that way...it makes sense in some weird sort of way...? But still! The concours is a very special event! It made a lot of people get interested in music when they weren't before. It's quite something. :)

I'm glad you were able to get lunch just fine. I wouldn't want you to miss lunch because of me! It was great hearing from you again! Oh, and um, thanks for letting me call you by your first name...
