meme: in character letter v.2

I've been playing around disutansu's meme as Yanagi Renji. XD;; I did this meme before last year and got an interesting turnout. It's quite fun rereading. ^__^ (I'm quite bored out of my mind, so I will SPAM you back!!)

Lucathia-san,

My apologies for taking so long to write a message to you. Nationals has been time-consuming, so much so that it's been a while since I wrote to anyone as a matter of fact.

But putting my excuses aside, I confess to pleasant surprise when Niou very casually remarked someone was waiting to hear from me, someone outside Japan no less. Which part of the US do you live in? And if you would indulge me, how did you come to know of us?

I'm afraid I must end my letter here. My training is overdue as I write and Niou is waiting with his habitual impatience. Perhaps when Nationals come to an end, we can exchange letters a bit more often. In the meantime, take care and I hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,
Yagyuu Hiroshi.

P/S: Niou wishes to inform you that not all of Rikkai write like "someone with a stick stuffed up his ass." I on the other hand, wish to explain not all of Rikkai are inclined to write letters with no sense of decorum.

Define 'sense of decorum', Yagyuu.

And you'd better be thanking me for pointing you here; that's what manners are for after all, eh?

Meaning one doesn't carelessly curse in front of any respectable person so easily. Not everyone's immune to such a display from you.

Thank you for directing me here. Now kindly return the favour to Yanagi.

Yagyuu.

I distinctly remember refraining from any kind of swearing when I commented, Gentleman-sama. And quite a feat it was too, I'm proud to say.

Done and done even before you said to; how's that for being polite? Anyway, one-on-one match later before practice - you game?

"Handing back Seigaku their ass on a platter" was a tad graphic, if not accurately put, I thought. Still, you're the one who got a mark higher in composition so I won't argue with your choice of words.

I'm sure Yanagi's relieved that some measure of advice is being absorbed. And I shall be waiting on the courts - I took the liberty of repairing the racket you lent me the other day by the way.

Not my fault Sensei appreciates 'eloquency and descriptiveness' over concise. And even you agree that it's the truth anyway.

Heh, thanks - would have to make a trip down to the store this weekend if you hadn't. Your racket's still good to go - being Yagyuu means I have to ensure it's always in tip-top condition after all.

Composition was never really my strong point. Which is amazing considering I wrote that essay in your place...

Speaking of which, the store's brought in some unusual dartboards. Apparently you can write names on the board instead of the usual scores. I'm not responsible for the choice of names if Yukimura-san asks though.

Anyway, we've lingered here too long. We better go for that pre-practice game before we annoy Lucathia-san any further.

Sounds like I should be paying that store a visit soon.

Ah, let's go then.

Yagyuu-san,

Thank you for writing me, especially since you've been busy with Nationals.

Ah, I've seen a recording of your previous match against Seigaku. I've been wanting to see more of your matches ever since. I actually live in California. My area's called the Bay area since it's very near the San Francisco Bay. Have you ever been to America before?

Good luck with your training! Nationals is very awe-inspiring. My team didn't nearly get that far.

Thank you for taking the time to write me. I appreciate both yours and Niou's very much. I feel like I'm talking with you face-to-face here. It's really quite something.

-Lucathia

P.S. This IS Yagyuu-san right? Not Niou?
