Illusions-Lies-Truth... Guan Ting!
January is over. 0___0;; I haven't been able to write anything lately! Writing muse, please speak to me. I only posted one fic update in January. ): I'm entertaining an idea for an Akatsuki no Yona fic, but I don't have a very good handle on the characters and the world. I've only written LSK for such a long time, ahaha~~. Tried writing A Vice-Captain's Tale Suggestion #8. Stuck at 900 words... Hm, with the next scheduled chapter of LSK v8 over at Prince Revolution, maybe I can finally write Never to Kneel. =x Welp, in the meantime, I guess I'll just keep opening my various documents to see if any of my fics will speak to me~~. They're being so stubborn!
February means a new release of Illusions, Lies, Truth! :D Volume 3, "In the Name of God, Part One" is being released on February 25. The limited edition can be ordered starting February 11 and the regular edition on February 16. The special edition includes this pouch thing. Looks like it can hold pens. There's also another edition that includes an autograph board, but that's only useful for people in Taiwan. The character on the cover this time is Guan Ting! *____* He has black wings??? I wonder if that's hinting at anything. I hope he has a large part this time. :D

If angels don't necessarily equate to kindness, then what about gods?
In the name of god, they speak like humans yet do the work of devils.
In the end, what is the division between humans, gods, and devils?
Even though he burns incense and prays, Jiang Ziya wouldn't claim that he is religious.

If even angels carry out massacres,

A cool synopsis. I'm looking forward to reading this book (and getting more of golden-haired, blue-eyed Guan Ting).

Illusions-Lies-Truth V3 Chapter 1 rambling
Yu Wo posted part of chapter 1! Ziya has just found out that his boss might possibly be a god. He sees the angel he told Yu Shu about. The angel is protecting one of the students at his university. The university student tries to invite Ziya to watch a free movie at his movie club. Ziya doesn't "accept" the invitation because he's learned to be careful about all kinds of invitations. Still, the angel is pleased that Ziya humored the student.
We get to see Luyang after this~~. Ziya tries to invite him to watch the movie with him. Luyang really wants to, but his parents are returning, so he's going to go pick them up from the airport. He tells Ziya that he should come and meet his parents sometime. He makes it sound like he's going to introduce his girlfriend or something. XD;; These two are too funny. It seems like Luyang will be taking Ziya on some missions from now on instead of keeping him in the dark.
Luyang mentions that he has heard from his grandpa that there used to be a married couple in this business with the surname Jiang. They were very low-key and seemed to have vanished suddenly. Ziya is pretty sure they must be his parents. He tries thinking about it, but Luyang quickly warns him not to think about it. He must have forgotten for a reason, most likely for his protection.
I still suspect that maybe Ziya is already dead and was wished back to life as a "truth". =x Though if that's the case, Yu Shu would probably have been able to tell when he went into her apartment, since she seems to have barriers and wards and stuff set up.
Can't wait to see what this volume will reveal!
No Hero V9 Chapter 1 rambling
Yu Wo also posted more of Chapter 1 of No Hero. Charles is still in captivity. Because he no longer needs to sleep after using that medicine from the professor, he thinks about a ton of things. Aaaand he also gets super super thirsty and hungry. He requires more blood now. The blood they're giving him is not enough at all. So, driven insane with hunger, Charles seizes the hand of the guy delivering the blood and bites him.
He completely sucks the guy dry, only remembering too late the caution that he should never drink to the last drop. He doesn't know if it's just a superstition or if something would happen to him. The guy is a withered corpse by the time he's done, and the Church accuses him of being a monster. The Church wants to research him though because they've never seen a vampire that could drink so much blood. They wonder if perhaps he has some connection to X, and that maybe by studying him, they would be able to find X's weakness.
I hope Charles can get out of captivity somehow... Best if he can break out himself, but I'm sure Curtis must be looking for him. I'm not sure about Ah Ye's current frame of mind, but if Ah Ye doesn't take action, perhaps his brother would? For Ah Ye's sake. Hope we get to see V9 soon~~
