Hopefully this news story will still be up for a while. I particularly like the last picture where the Pope is making a rather funny face.

Last night I watched the rather amusing Some Kind of Monster. I'm not certain what reasoning I had for wanting to dip my brain into that particular fondue but I found a few jewels therein. For example, there was this big dry erase board in the studio they were working in. There were a few scenes where the camera pans over it and one of the prospective song titles (or, Gods forbid, song lyric and/or topic) was "Satanic Cuckoo Clock".
That was hilarious, but I have no idea what it was all about. The pretense that they're some sort of "scary" or "evil" band should be long gone by now and is going to rapidly diminish whenever whomever wants to believe that pseudo-myth sees them using psychoanalytical language with some guy named Phil, anyway.
Ah, but who needs mythos in these Reality TV days? I suppose the point being that there was actual substance to the stories handed down to us from so long ago.
These thoughts seem quite incomplete. I should do some elaborating, or maybe not. It's good to be back on the goat, either way.
