Reading (Attempt)
John's sitting cross-legged on the bed, propped up against the wall with a pillow behind his shoulders, as he attempts to read a rather thick-looking book. Every so often he absently picks up a tiny plushy mouse and tosses it blindly into another part of the room; a tiny white ball of fur goes tearing after said plushy, whereupon it pounces with murderous glee and shakes it up really, really good. After the display, the mighty huntress stalks back to the bed, hops up, drops the plushy then attempts to get between John and the book by rubbing up against his chest, which is when the cycle continues with the tossing of the plushy.
Skye isn't sure how the demon mouse continues to live after she kills it and presents it to her Human, but she suspects that it's giving said Human super-powers that allows resurrection. More research is required, which is why she once more goes chasing after the mouse like a mighty paladin with a vengeance.
