I don't usually stay up this late, but I must have lost track of time. I might as well give it another couple of hours, since I'm up...

And I may as well ask. I'm compiling information on Earth's Golden Age of Sailing. I'd appreciate suggestions for resources I may have overlooked.

Well, the works of Patrick O'Brien are pretty informative, especially his Master and Commander series. I have the first 4 if you want to take a look.

No problem! I also have a biography of the real-life captain that O'Brien based Captain Jack Aubrey on, if you're interested in that as well. I can have my father send me the other Master and Commander books as well (O'Brien wrote a slew of the things).
