update for the past week...
Wed afternoon me Michelle and Nick all went to the basketball pep rally.... it was fun... the team was all jazzed about going to the final four and Big Baby talked about how they have the "tapeworm" and all, it was adorable... Michelle and I were joking about how she could marry Tyrus Thomas and I could marry Big Baby and we'd have little basketball player kids and live in mansions next to each other and go to all their NBA games and all together... lol...
Thurs was school all day... and squeezing in going to the nutritionist at 2, to find the health center flooded... but i got to meet with her assistant... she took my weight and height and wrist size (which i thought was weird but she said it was to get my bone size and better help with my personal diet profile) then they told me to keep a food diary for three days... but she couldnt get me in for an apointment with the actual nutritionist til the wed of spring break so im gonna try to do a 5 day food log... for an even better depiction of my current diet... i have to be very specific on it though... like ounces of every ingredient etc... so it will be hard to keep up with all week... but i figure the more days i have the better... shes then going to tell me what nutrients im not getting and all that too... its to get healthy and lose that last little bit of weight ive gained since college... and hopefully to keep me motivated and accountable...
Friday I went to the baseball game with Nick... it was very disappointing... we left at the bottom of the 7th/ top of the 8th... we were down by like 9 points.. and South Carolina made another run... we decided to go to Brewbachers cause I havent been there in like well over a year... maybe two... and Matt Liuzza and Clay Dirks ended up comming in before we finished... Clay looked pretty ticked.. he didnt pitch, but he was still mad... and Liuzza didnt look to mad... but it was cool seeing them too... then i came home and Rhonda Lacey and Alena were just finished making their shirts for the foam party... i had my doubts about going but ended up going... it was fun... LOTS of foam... a stripper pole and a cage... which was interesting... the foam got kinda gross at the end... but other than that it was a good time... I drove the girls home after....
Saturday me michelle ashley and jessie all went up to michelles farm with our dogs, Belle(my lab mix), Sadie(michelles rat terrior), Emma (ashleys weimerainer), and Annabelle (jessies beagle)... and laura and richie were up there with his lab pichou (i think thats how you spell it... thats how it sounds and even though im from laffy michelle it doesnt mean im a coonass and should know all that!!) and then her parents came up with all there dogs sparky (a small lab mix), jake (a big lab mix), elle (a mut), so there were 8 dogs and 8 people... it was a packed farm thats for sure... it was so much fun though... i was worried belle would be bad but she was soo good and i didnt have her leash on her at all the whole weekend... we got there and then us girls took the dogs on a long walk down in the creek and they all ran around and played in the water and all... then we went back to the house for a bit and then about an hour later took another long walk through the woods and fields... we saw a cow skull and what we think was a deer skull and a dead turtle (that belle peed on, lol) belle had the best time... running and playing and swimming in the pond... she looked like one of the otters at the zoo... it was the cutest thing ever... i took a whole role of film of mainly just dogs and plan to post the pics on facebook as soon as i can... then we watched the basketball game... which was very depressing... they could have won had they played to their true abilities... but on the positive side... we did start the season unranked and then ended up making it to the final four and beating Duke and Texas... so i cant really complain, im actually really proud... then we stayed up talking about old memories... of college and some of their high school...
this morning woke up at about 6... then went back to bed til about 8... we lazed around most of the morning... Belle went swimming some more... even though she was so sore from yesterday that she was limping around like a 15 year old dog or something... it was sad... but i know she had a good time so thats good... we just got back not too long ago and she got up into my bed and passed out and is dead asleep... poor girls really worn out.... and i have to do my statics homework now so i can enjoy the game and not have much to do when its over... i hope we win... the girls deserve this so much...
