Charity Trustees wanted...
Does anyone up Brummagem way fancy joining the board of trustees of a charity?
My Mum's organisation - The Jan Foundation needs new trustees.
The core of their work is to recruit, train and support volunteer mentors for women who are victims of domestic violence. They work with women who are still in the situation as well as those who have escaped it. There is also some awareness raising work. It is a small organisation and really needs good people to join the board. Unfortunately, I can't join as Mum is the Chief Exec (with a staff of 2!) and it wouldn't really be appropriate!
