Here we have old sim pictures from November 2004.
'Space Lincoln' is really an alien lifeform who has taken a visage comforting to earth-sims - that of beloved Honest Abe. He's showed up on the doorstep of his unsuspecting 'long lost cousin' in Strangetown, George Lincoln. Lincoln sends detailed 'Lincoln Logs' back to his home planet. I've only just created these two, so they haven't gotten far yet.
George and Space Lincoln are bound to be the Odd Couple of roomies.
The Davis Family - 'Juice' Davis is the punk looking guy, Martin Davis is the serious and refined fellow. They're an unlikely couple with very different interests and personalities. I thought they'd be difficult to play because of this, but they actually
get along very well.
Ming and Julius Desmond - they're a cute couple who started out as roomies and are currently engaged. He is
very sloppy which causes her occasional moments of great angst. She works in the
medical field. The Cho Family consists of
Sung, Karam and their son Se Kwan. They live in a a mostly Asian decor house. I haven't done many pictures of this family yet, since I just made them not long ago. This was my first family with a child in school- it was very hard to manage at first, until Se Kwan learned how to study well enough for his homework to get done quicker.
The McCaine Family is a large family consisting of Elders Ma and Pa McCaine and their adult children -
Chris, Kayla, Maggie and Joey. With so many people in the house, this one is difficult to manage. The
McCaines are more often
seen visiting their various neighbors than actually being played at their own home.
Richard Malcom, military man, is
roomies with a Wiccan girl named Shandra ( 'No last name. Like Cher!') who is
a dedicated... slacker. I seem to like throwing Sims with different personalities together to see what happens.
The Newman family consists of Elder Arthur Newman, and his two unmarried children, Robert and Sally. They're old fashioned Sims , who live in a
manor home that's as close to 1930's-ish as I could get it to look. There should be more old-timey objects.
Kay and Jonathan North are siblings, living all alone after their parents' untimely deaths. Fortunately, they can look after themselves and keep each other company. These are pretty new Sims, so they've only had time to get
their house together and find jobs - they haven't had all that much opportunity to interact with the neighborhood. She's a fortune sim and he's a popularity sim.
Sera Rowan is a
single parent, raising her daughter Danielle all alone. Danielle is working a part time job after school, and has trouble keeping her grades up. She fears running away... and using public restrooms. She's a shy Sim. Her mother is much more outgoing, and tries to Encourage her daughter to be so on a frequent basis. Despite their occasional strife, Danielle sometimes sleeps in her mother's bed at night, hence
this strange scene.
Roger and
Xandria Pearson are a nice, normal couple. They don't seem to have many problems- they go to work in good moods, and enjoy spending time together and visiting their friends and neighbors. They've just had their first child - a
daughter named Alicia. Barry Gold and his
domestic partner, Matthew Parks, are cheerful and outgoing people. They're seen at most of the parties in the neighborhood, and are frequently the first visitors to welcome someone to a new home.
And two more detailed Sim stories...
This is the Kennedy family - Cory Albright (Elder - Tamara's father), Tamara and Blake Kennedy
Family Portrait!
This is Blake cooking dinner. He's very domestic- he stays at home and works on his skills while Tamara has a job in the military. Eventually she's going to quit to have a baby, and he'll become the working Sim.
Yep, he's working on those skills.
In their other house's kitchen (Long story there that involved hedges, a glitch and ultimately much sadness and rebuilding), Blake juggles. Cory is unimpressed, Tamara doesn't notice.
Do you mind? Cory is bathing!
Cory thinks he is a much better cook than Blake.
And he also takes care of the fish.
No, he's not too old to invite a pretty young neighbor over for some hot tubbing.
Tamara and Blake have no idea what goes on with Cory and the neighbor girl. They're sound asleep.
Having breakfast the next morning.
Playing a game together
Tamara, in workout clothes, calls bingo numbers for Lance, Matthew, and Ming.
Tamara painting
Future plans are for Tamara to quit her job and have a baby, and Blake to become the working sim.
Cory passed on right around the time of that hedge/glitch problem, poor guy.
The Bothwells, Lizzie and Lance
Lizzie and Lance started out as roomies.
He chose a life of crime, while she decided to be a mostly stay at home sim...
Perhaps because of her mad pancake flipping skills, they fell in love.
And got married.
In a lovely ceremony...
Followed by cake, champagne...
And pregnancy.
Lance thinks this means he needs to learn how to lie better.
But it's not working well...
So he gets out the thinking caps and teaches his pregnant wife to lie instead...
Maybe he's even trying to teach the baby about that future life of crime?
Lizzie being pregnant makes Lance tired.
Despite being a criminal himself, Lance doesn't hesitate to rat out a fellow buddy in crime. He's in here, officer!
Baby time!
The proud parents of baby Gregory
Lizzie helps Gregory blow out the candles... tosses him up in the air and...
He comes back down a toddler.
Radioactive toddler!
Learning to walk
Playing the Xylophone
Mom! Dad! Stop with the WooHoo and let me outtttt!
Eating lunch
Don't mind that machine next to your crib... it won't electrocute you. Honest.
And that's where they are right now - hopefully Gregory will grow up to be a cute kid soon. Maybe he'll have a little brother or sister soon!
