whew
I have officially written ALL THE THINGS. All six prompts, done. 9949 words worth of done, in fact. I'm sort of proud of that number - not because it's so high, actually, but because it's not higher. If each of my stories were the same length (which of course they're not) That would be a little more than 1600 words apiece, and that? That's not so bad, for telling a story and getting people hooked and describing stuff. I've gotten better about length.
I find myself now sort of weirdly adrift - I'm planning to enjoy the day off from writing, to not do much more beyond my daily 750 words and whatever correspondence I need to catch up on, but it is a little strange to not be preoccupied thinking of a story, planning what voice to use, trying to decide on names... all of that.
Of course, there are other things to write, stories that have been languishing, things in need of editing, prompts from friends... but there are always things to write. Today? Today I am going to be lazy. It'll be good.
