Update on Sagan -- We officially gave up trying to work with the cats a couple of months ago. We have accepted (as much as we can) that Sagan and Shadow will never get along. It's tough. I FINALLY went to a Wednesday night kayak meeting with SKOAC (http://www.skoac.org/), the kayak club I joined. I've been trying to get out there for a year! It was so fun! About a week ago, Shadow came really close to laying down next to Buddy on a blanket. But, unfortunately, a loud noise startled him and he walked away instead. I hoped it would happen again and yesterday it did!! Shadow was laying down and Buddy laid down next to him on that same blanket. Or at least I get the impression he does or is starting to. I saw them playing a little bit tonight. Shadow was laying on the floor pawing at her while she stood over him.
