Progress
I was cursing madly this morning while I drove out to write. But the 100 day push has been an incredibly effective strategy to get me off my butt and working on the rewrite, every single day.
I've finished doing this character edit in the first novel, and have started doing it in the second. I'm a little bogged down, because there are more things I need to fix in this second novel. But I am making progress.
I don't know if I'll be finished with the full rewrite by the end of 100 days. I suspect I won't be, but I'm trying to be okay with that.
In the meanwhile, I'm starting to contemplate what I'm going to do after I finish 100 days of rewrite. What kind of treat do I give myself? Do I give myself a treat? Or do I just take a break? Or is this the start of a life style change, writing every day unless physically unable? I just don't know.
