What happens to a dream deferred?

Lately, I've been writing entries and then deleting them, having arrived at my own conclusion by the time I finish writing them. This is a huge waste of time, but also somewhat theraputic, so I guess it works ( Read more... )

I know for the past couple of years, you and me have a relationship that can be described as civil at best. I am happy for you that you're getting married though, and I know that whatever life throws at you, you'll make the best of it. Getting married might change what your dreams become, but it wont ruin them.

I am of the opinion that everything happens for a reason. Yes, I am one of those. So I am convinced that you and Troy were destined to meet and love it up. Yep. That is very exciting stuff. And I pretty much think he's the greatest ever, so that is excellent. You found a winner!!

Um. Also, pretty sure that your dream to move to the Northwest (I'm not dropping it... it's the best dream anyone could have) will happen. Mmhmm. And you're not having the kiddles so it doesn't matter that the schools are less than stellar. Though, are they really good anywhere aside from crazy expensive private schools in the Northeast? No... no, they are not. Um. That is really all I have to say.

Wait, another comment. Brian called me today wondering when my flight is getting in to Denver. Pretty sure he's trying to ultra prepared for life, considering that August is still a bit aways. Besides, I won't know where I am flying from this summer(a Dakota or in Minnesota... yay, accents!) until I get to Nashville in mid-late June. Yessah. Anyway, at least he's on top of things, right? RIGHT!

Yeah, I told him I hadn't talked to you and I didn't think you knew when you'd be coming/where you'd be coming from yet. But he thought it was late in the game to buy a ticket so he should get it ASAP. I think he wanted to prove he was still invested after we decided he wouldn't be in the wedding party. But apparently his parents have barred him from using a car, so if you do come in at the same time, maybe you all can work something out.
