Not Hawaii
It seems to me like people have forgotten that Canada gets snow. How this is possible, I don't know. Over the week-end there was a 100 car pile-up on the 400, and then today there were two major pile-ups on the 401. The message that the police have been giving us for years, "adjust your driving to weather conditions" just doesn't seem to be getting through. Some people seem to think that driving 100 km/h in white out conditions makes sense. This is like running blindfolded with scissors through a busy mall: someone's going to get a sharp piece of metal inserted where it doesn't belong. Slow down, pull over, and call to say you're going to be late. Because this is Canada; we get snow; deal with it.
